Avila Beach

This weekend we went to Avila Beach with my (Amy's) family to scatter my dad's ashes. It was a wonderful weekend! My mom rented a beautiful beach house for us with a beautiful view!

Here is the view from the window. You can't see in this photo, but when we got there they were filming a Bridgestone Tire commercial on the pier for the Superbowl. A helicopter was flying overhead as a Cadillac Escalade Avalanche truck sped down the pier and then spun out. It was all very entertaining!
Here is Ada getting in trouble and exploring her new surroundings.
The poor girl's pants are too big for her! They fit her when she was 5 months, but now she has thinned out!
She loves to carry her new shoes around in her mouth. We are going to have to teach her they go on her feet.
Hmmm.
Ada having fun with silly Grandma.
The view from my family's house on top of the hill.
A picture of my dad and his brothers in the 1950's in front of their house.
Me with my brother and sister in the same spot.
All of us Caldwells in front of the house.
Paul and I with the adorable house.

On Saturday afternoon Paul, Ada and I went to the Avila Barn. It was amazing! We looked at all of the animals and pumpkins. Ada got a tiny pumpkin for herself.

Here are the ostriches.
Here is the sheep.
Here is the tiny pony.
Here are the beautiful pumpkins!

On Saturday night when we went for a walk we also attended the wedding of some people we don't know! Here is the bride walking down the aisle.
Here is the bride arriving on a Harley!
Here we are swinging on my favorite swings in THE ENTIRE WORLD!

The view from the house we stayed at.
An arty shot of the front door. It reminds me of my great grandparent's front door.
The inside of the house we rented for the weekend.
Paul, Ada and Megan. Ada has turkey hanging out of her mouth.
Sweet Baby Ada playing with one of her favorite toys right now.
