Merry Christmas, Ada Baby!

Christmas is so much fun with Ada! We had a great week!

Christmas Eve:
We started off by going to the children's service at my mom's church. Ada loved it and wanted to walk all over the place. Then we came back to my mom's for soup and the opening of Ada's pajamas.

Here are Ada & Kitty getting ready to open Ada's gift.

Ada is thinking, "What is this?! Pajamas. That is it! This isn't a very fun gift! How am I going to pretend that I like them for mom."

Ada in her new pajamas! (Grandma is in the background with her snowman clock trying to get Ada to smile. It didn't work.)
Christmas morning.

Really Ada is the one who woke us up before the sun came up...oh wait...our friend Krister was really the one who woke us up at 5am with a text message (We only get international text messages). Thanks Krister! We love you!
Ada going to see what she got in her stocking.

Finally a smile from our sweet little one!
The Christmas pineapple.
Ada with her beer...oh wait, the beer was in Paul's stocking. Ada just wanted to play with the bottle.

Then it was breakfast time!

After breakfast we headed over to my mom's house to open gifts.

Aunty Megan and her cute hat.
Ada got an American Girl baby doll from grandma! She likes to hug her and give her kisses.

In the afternoon on Christmas we had dinner with my dad's family over at my mom's house.

Stockings, Lights, Blood, And Birthday

So here they are! Ada's stockings are finished! She has one for home and one for grandma's house. They took a lot of time, but I really like them.
Here is Ada with Megan. Ada loves her Cal Poly onesie.
We went to look at lights one night this week. Ada LOVES the lights. She tries to blow them out like candles.
This was the best decorated house we saw.
Grandma and Ada.
No worries. ADA IS NOT SITTING IN BLOOD. She has been busy making a few gifts for Christmas and we found the bath was the best place to do it.

For my birthday I didn't have to clean up. This is what Paul did after dinner. While I....
....did this! It was so nice to have a night off! Actually, I got 2 nights off. On Saturday night Paul and I got to go out to a nice dinner at Cafe Zack by ourselves. It was lovely! Ada had a great time with Grandma and Megan.
My birthday dinner. Thanks mom! It was wonderful!
