Busy Summer

We have been so busy! I haven't had time to post any photos. I am totally missing a blog post about our trip to Hume Lake...but now that was so long ago we will just skip it. But it was lots of fun!

A few weeks ago we had the trees in our backyard cut down. It was a super exciting morning around our house!

Our friend Laura came for a visit. Laura was one of my ministry partners in Mexico when we worked for LAM for 14 months back in 2000. She now works in Morocco. She was home for the summer and we were happy that she could come out to see us for a few days.
We had some coffee at Simones.

We also went to the fair one morning. Here Ma is kissing a goat.
We went to the cross with Laura. The last time she took our photo here was the day before we went to the hospital to have Ada!
We ate some good Mexican food when Laura was here! Yum!

We went to Santa Barbara for the day.
We were pooped out....
We saw the fair parade downtown one morning. Laura loves American flags and high school bands so it was the perfect event for her.
We went to the zoo one day.
