Saying good bye to Grandpa Charlie and good times

My Grandpa Charlie passed away this week. He was 90 years old. He was a good grandpa and I miss him.
This is his uniform from WWII. He was a co-pilot of a B-24 and an instructor. He loved talking about the war....so did grandma. I used to think sometimes that she was a pilot with him the way she would tell his stories. :)
After the funeral we went to their old house, where my brother lives, and had a party.
We ate Wood Ranch...Grandpa loved a good piece of meat.
We looked at old photos of Grandpa Charlie and visited.
Megan Jo and me. I love her!
Grandpa's stuff.
Grandpa is buried next to his youngest son, Joe, who died in 1969 at the age of 17.

My Grandma receiving my Grandpa's flag.
My Grandma Eloyce. She was married to my grandpa for 67 years. They loved each other dearly.
Security at the funeral.
Two Military men and Megan Jo.
Grandma Eloyce and her brother, Dwight. They are so sweet together. They love each other so much.
Megan, the greeter.
Taps played while they folded the flag
On Thursday night we went out to dinner with family that came into town. Ada had a grilled cheese sandwich and walked around the restaurant with a big stuffed black lab. She was very happy.
Madison and Lewis came to stay with us for the day when Uncle Mikey had the reception at his house. Ada thought it was the best thing ever. We walked them and played with them a ton on Friday. And then they went home...One day is enough dog for me.
We celebrated Uncle Mikey's Birthday. The family came over to our house for dinner. He wanted a zebra cake...this is the best I could do.
Ada loves to play Twister.
some of Ada's Twister moves
Our friend, Baby Nathan, came over a few weeks ago and used Ada's Boppy to nurse with. After Nathan went home Ada was very interested and needed to nurse her baby using the Boppy. :)
Ada being silly.
