Ada's First Birthday

We had a SUPER fun day on Wednesday celebrating having Ada in our lives!

Paul took the day off.
First we opened gifts on Skype with Granny Tromans.
And then we headed up to Santa Barbara. Ada napped.
Then Paul had a WONDERFUL idea! We stopped at Xanadu's Bakery for some Pain au Chocolat. Yummy!
Then we went to the zoo!
Ada loved watching the penguins getting fed.
Ada just wanted to practice her walking all day long!

We took a picnic lunch with us.

AND then Ada was pooped out! She took a nice long nap on the way home.
After her nap we had a Caldwell family party. Everyone came over for Pot Roast and cupcakes.

Ada loved it all!
Cupcake eating is very serious business.

After dinner and cupcakes Ada played in her room with Uncle Mikey.
And then they read a story. Uncle Mikey was very happy about this.
And then she opened her gift from Auntie Sue.
Then Ada hung out with Auntie Jenn.
Ada had a VERY busy day! We were all exhausted. We are so thankful for having little Ada in our lives.
