Ada made butterfly cupcakes with her daddy this weekend for his birthday. Paul's birthday is next weekend, but he is going to be working so we decided to celebrate early.

Today we went to Ojai to have lunch with our Caldwell family. Afterwards we took Great Grandma and Grandpa out for some fro yo. They loved it! Here Grandma is feeding Grandpa. Aren't they so cute!?! Ha!

As usual in the life of Ada

Ada thinks everything is a cell phone these days. If she doesn't have a toy, she uses her hands. She usually has important calls to make to her dog friends.
Ada has also been busy vacuuming our floor for us.

The other night I gave Ada the small bowl with her dinner in it. :)
I also gave her popcorn and yogurt for dinner!
Ada loves fountains and playing in water.
We have to hold her back from falling in.

I was supposed to start it before I was pregnant with Ada.
Well, now she is almost 2 I am finished with it!

Busy, Busy, Busy....

This week...

Ada tried on my pajama pants.
(I got them from the thrift store for $4. They are brand new from Target. Nice.)
We went to the zoo with Aunty Megan.
This is a blue bird we saw.
We talked about BIG and SMALL.
Aunty Megan and Ada rode the train.
Aunty Megan and Ada pretended to be birds.

...We are thankful Aunty Megan is willing to be silly.

My beautiful drinking water spout...now we don't have to go to the Water Store all the time!
I don't know why we didn't get this sooner. Life is so much easier.
We went to the beach with Grandma Judy.
We celebrated Great Grandma's 88th birthday with a big dance party.
Grandma Judy saw an old friend, Cindy, at Farmer's Market.
We played restaurant.
Ada ate some corn and smiled for the camera.
We went to the beach with our friends.
Ada built lots of towers with her Legos.
It was a good week.

Is the summer really here?!

It has finally gotten a little bit warmer here and we have been enjoying the sun. We went to the beach twice and to Ojai last week.

We also ate popsicles.

...took Grandma Eloyce out to lunch...or rather she took us out.
