The Harrells, vacuums, & Cadence's cupcake

I wish I knew how to put my photos on the blog in order. I never seem to be able to do this so I just stopped trying.
I think the photos are all backwards again this week.

Tonight our friends, Caleb and Jackson, came over while their mom & dad were at a meeting. We had a fun time playing.
Lastly we ate chocolate pudding for dessert.

Before the pudding we played with all of Ada's toys.
And before that we played outside with the wagon, soccer ball and bubbles.
Jackson.
Checking out the dogs.
This is Ada's new skill-- pulling herself up on the bench.
Ada checking out her friends and wondering what they are doing.

Wagon ride!

This is what Ada looks like when she wakes up from a nap.
Cute, huh?
Crazy hair.
We went over to our friend Natalie's house for dinner the other night. Ada was obsessed with the vacuum. Thankfully Julie took it out of the closet so that Ada could have a closer look. She thought it was an elephant...but then lately she thinks everything is an elephant! ha!
Everyone eating a yummy dinner. Thanks Nat!
Look closely.
These are not Ada's hairy legs.
They belong to Oliver the cat.
Aunty Megan thought it would be funny to put Ada's shoes on Oliver.
Oliver didn't think it was that fun.
We also went to our friend, Cadence's, birthday party this week.
This is how I found Ada sitting in the wagon. :)
The birthday girl.
And finially I can reveal what we have been busy making this month. We sewed aprons for our sweet friends, Cadence & Evie, for their birthday!
Here are the finished results!
When I have some more creative energy I'll have to make some more.
We are busy preparing for Granny & Grandpa Tromans to visit us!
They will be here on Friday!
We can't wait to see them!

Uganda, Gardens & St. Patrick's day

Have you heard?!
These two are going to Uganda this summer!
We are so excited!
They are going with IMPACT, part of the Santa Barbara Presbytery.
I went on two missions with them in 1993 and 2001 to Kenya.
We will be kitty-sitting.
Goofs!

Grandma Judy, Ada & I planted a garden this week.
We are going to have some strawberries, eggplant, artichoke, red pepper, and tomatoes soon!
Ada LOVED playing outside and watering the plants.
The face behind the camera.

Aunty Megan is home for spring break!!
Ada is busy bossing her around.
Ada is trying new things out.
Do you think she can sleep in her baby's cradle at night?
Do you see Granny Denise in this photo?
Aunty Jenn got Ada this cute top for St. Patrick's day.
Ada with her collage of animals.

Happy Birthday Aunty Jenn! We love you!

Birthday and Bunnies

On Thursday we celebrated Great Uncle Mike's birthday.
Ada was really happy about it.
Great Grandpa & Grandma Caldwell were there.
It is always nice to see them.
And we ate cake.
Ada & I broke the singing birthday bear.
Earlier in the week we played at Grandma Judy's house.
Ada has no problem making herself at home.
On Sunday I tried putting a dress of Aunty Megan's on Ada.
Ada didn't want to wear clothes on Sunday.
Ada is thinking,"What is this? Take it off!!"
Do you remember wearing this sweet number, Megan Jo?
Attitude?
Ada wrote a nice card to Great Grandma Connie for the Easter bunny she sent in the mail.
Ada is all business.
We are loving the time change and the nice weather! Aren't you? We love walking after dinner and wearing our summer clothes.
Only a few more weeks until Granny & Grandpa come! We are getting excited!

Playing, Oatmeal, Kisses, & Sewing

This is an unhappy face....She is saying, "Momma, I want your full attention! Put the camera away already!"
I am not sure what is happening in this photo. But it is funny.
Puzzle time.
Coloring time. As you can see she is very talented already! Just look at those amazing pictures she has drawn all by herself!
We put the finishing touches on Ada's room this week. I SO love it!
This morning Grandma Judy came over for breakfast and a walk. When she got here Ada walked Grandma to the living room and told her to sit down on the floor for devotional time! Ha!

This is what we eat every morning for breakfast...different versions of multi-grain oatmeal. What do you eat?
Ada likes to give kisses. Here she is giving her daddy a kiss. I am so glad they love each other!
Ada and I ...and Grandma Judy are working on a little something....You will have to wait and see at the end of the month!

A little bit of everything

This week.....

.....we played.....
.....with balls.
We helped daddy with the ladder.

Ada changed her baby's diaper...a lot....
.....and washed her face.
Our friends, Ben & Lyric, helped Ada put on her socks and shoes.

I have been getting a little bit crafty, making my own pattern.
(It is a secret. I can't tell you yet what I am making because it might be for someone who reads our blog.)
I made some ginger carrot soup and we got some yummy bread from our favorite local bakery.
Ada played some more.
Ada wanted Grandma Judy to sit in her car seat.
And she did.
Pretty funny.
Kelly & I went to Ikea. We bought tons of fun stuff!
